Transliteration

Transliteration is the method of writing script of one language using the characters of another language (English).

For example:

The Kannada sentence ಚಿನ್ನದ ನಾಡು ಗಂಧದ ಬೀಡು can be written in English as chinnada naaDu gaMdhada beeDu.

The Hindi sentence मेरा भारत महान can be written in English as merA bhArat mahAn.

The Tamil sentence தமிழ் மொழி இனியது can be written in English as tamizh mozhi iniyatu.

The Telugu sentence తెలుగు మాట తీపు can be written in English as telugu mATa tIpu.

The Malayalam sentence കേരള രാജ്യം‍ മനോഹരമാണ് can be written in English as kEraLa rAjyaM manOharamAN.

The Gujarati sentence અમારો દેશ ભારત છે can be written in English as amAro desh bhArat Che.

The Gurumukhi sentence ਭਾਰਤ ਮਾਡਾ ਦੇਸ਼ ਹੈ can be written in English as bhArat mADA desh hai.

The Bengali sentence ভারত আমার দেশ can be written in English as bhArat AmAr desh.

The Oriya sentence ମୋର ଜନ୍ମଭୂମି ଭାରତ can be written in English as mor janmabhoomi bhaarat.
