Knowledge Base - BarahaIME issue with Google Chrome

This problem has been fixed in the latest version.

In Google Chrome, the Backspace (VK_BACK) and Delete (VK_DELETE) keys behave differently when compared to Internet Explorer. Due to this behaviour BarahaIME doesn't work properly in Google Chrome. Though the Kannada Keyboard, Hindi & Marathi languages seem to work, they do have some problems. More info will be posted on this issue (and possibly a solution) if and when available.

Backspace key:

In Internet Explorer the word ಚಿನ್ನ (मुन्न) will be erased by 5 key strokes of Backspace key as shown below.

In Google Chrome the word ಚಿನ್ನ (मुन्न) will be erased by 3 key strokes of Backspace key as shown below.

Delete key:

In Internet Explorer the word ಚಿನ್ನ (मुन्न) will erased by 2 key strokes of Delete key as shown below.

In Google Chrome the word ಚಿನ್ನ (मुन्न) will be erased by 3 key strokes of Delete key as shown below.
