There are several ways of editing Indian language text in other applications such as MS Word, Adobe PageMaker, Corel Draw, MS Excel, e.t.c.
Using Baraha Direct:
This is the easiest and fastest approach. See the topic Baraha Direct.
Copy and Paste method:
You can copy the text from Baraha and paste into other applications like MS Word/Excel through the clip-board.
For copying from Baraha, click on the Output Window and select Edit | Copy or Edit | Copy Special menu commands. Then, in the other application click Edit | Paste command to paste it.
Export as DOC file:
You can Export the Baraha document as a .DOC file by clicking File | Export... menu command. You can open this DOC file from MS Word or Wordpad programs.
Export as HTML file:
You can Export the Baraha document as a HTML file by clicking File | Export... menu command. You can open this HTML document in other HTML editors such as Front Page, Netscape Composer e.t.c for further enhancements.
Export as UNICODE text file:
You can Export the Baraha document as a UNICODE file by clicking File | Export... menu command. You can open this UNICODE document in other editors such as Notepad, MS Office XP. e.t.c..
