Baraha is a free software which aims at promoting the use of Indian languages in the computer world. The software is dedicated to the eminent & prestigious Kannada novelist Sri A.N.Krishna Rao (popularly known as Anakru among kannadigas). As a tribute to his selfless service to Karnataka and Kannada language, Anakru fans have started the Anakru Foundation. This foundation is keen at building the Anakru kalabhavana as a rememberance of Anakru and to enable conduct various kannada cultural and literary activities. A humble request to all Baraha users is that they make a small contribution of Rs 250 ($10) to the foundation to help achieve its goals. We sincerely hope that you will appreciate our humble request to promote Indian languages.
